My husband (Andy) taught little Gizmo a new trick. Gizmo has a few golf tees that he has taken a shine to. Anyway, Andy was sitting at the desk in our bedroom the other night with Gizmo lying on the warm stereo receiver. He had a golf tee on the desk and started to roll it around. Well that really got Gizmo's attention! So Gizmo started to play with the tee on the desk. Then Gizmo started to pick up the tee in his mouth and carry it around the desk. A little while later, Andy was laying on the bed and Gizmo jumped up with the tee in his mouth and dropped it next to my husband. He s at there looking at Andy. So Andy threw it off the bed and that started a half an hour game of fetch !I had heard that Devon's could fetch, but I have never seen it! Andy called me upstairs to see the game of fetch. Then yesterday my parents were over for dinner and Andy and Gizmo did the fetch game on the kitchen tiles! My mother was speechless. I will have to get the game on video because it is so precious! Gizmo is so unlike any kitten I have ever seen! He has an exceptional personality and follows us around like a puppy. Whenever I get up in the night I have to be careful to not step on him (as he is running to catch up with me). He sits there and watches me put my contact lenses in. I had forgotten how wonderful it was to have a little kitty follow you around. He is so curious too! He wants to do everything with you. He will sit outside the shower on the mat while I am in there.

My whole family is smitten with this engaging adorable funny little imp! He is so much better than a regular cat! As far as I am concerned, I have found the best cat breed ever! If all of your kittens are this wonderful, everyone would want one! It makes me want another one! I am so tempted to get another of your kitties! I cannot say enough good things about this kitten! He is a constant joy! I can only hope he lives to be very old! We have only had him a little while and I can't imagine life without him in it!

Hi, Denise:
I thought I’d let you know that the boys are doing really well. I’m sure glad I got both of them. They are just little bundles of energy and into everything. Zammies (black & white) sometimes likes to sleep under the covers. He likes to crawl to the very bottom of the bed. Pippin comes up to the bedroom about 5:00 a.m. to wake his brother up, and they race around the bed like it’s their own private playground. Lately they sometimes get cranky with each other and play too rough. They’re both sitting on my lap now, tussling around, and I had to break them up.

My older female, Kiya, is very fond of the boys. She always has to be where they are. I think she wants to groom and cuddle with them, but I don’t think they’re quite ready for that. Maybe when they get a little older.

Thanks so much for these cuties. We just love them to death.

Hi Denise:
I am actually sending you this e-mail from work. I wanted to you know how much joy "Milo" (born 7/25/05) has brought to me. He is such a cutie and those little brown spots by his mouth. We call them chocolate chips." He is so smart, loves to fetch, cuddle - everything I wanted in a cat. I think we are both very, very attached to each other - and he is very spoiled. He has so many toys to play with and I come home immediately after work and play with him all evening but I still feel bad about him even being alone for the daytime. I'm considering getting another one and wanted to get your thoughts.

Here is a collage of some of the activities of Simon since he arrived on Friday (you can see Albert sitting in his arm chair looking on). Simon was a little tired on Friday from all the travel, but when he woke up on Sat, he was wired. He has been on top of every piece of furniture in our house and he can scoot up or down the stairs in about 2 seconds flat. His first contact with Albert was a little strained, but I think they are gradually adjusting to each other. Simon is already a great joy to our household.

Hello! I wanted to write to let you know about our little stinker, Pippin. He has grown to a beautiful adult male Devon. He is such a sweetie. He loves to talk to bugs and birds outside. Also, he LOVES blankets! All blankets of all kinds, you'll find him snuggled below the folds. He loves attention and likes to watch TV and play with our other 2 kitties. His favorite treat is yogurt... he gets a little lick every so often and he loves it. He has the most personality that I have ever seen in a cat. My friends all love him, and he is our best little boy. I will send you new pictures soon... we have a cute one of him in his STL Cardinals tee!

His personality is great! He's so curious and energetic... Like the energizer bunny. Haha. I was thinking that he might be happy with a playmate. I was wondering if you still have any available devons and if not, if I could perhaps be considered for the next litter that you are expecting?

Hi! Just a quick note to let you know that we love this cat. He has fit right in to our family. He has the best disposition. He is the sweetest little thing. He wants to sleep on my chest at night, but other than that things are going well. We did end up naming him Remington. We call him Remi. Anyway. Thanks again and Happy Holidays!!!! –

Merlin is adorable. He is seriously affectionate and loves to chatter "talk" to us and our other cat. He never went through that adolescent period you described. He is always cuddly and sweet. He has completely won our hearts. We went through a hissing stage between our other cat for about days and she has adopted him since then.
Truly, I could not be more thrilled with another kitten than I am with our little Merlin.

I have to tell you Ted is the nicest cat I've ever had. He is sweet, cuddly, careful around my daughter, and now he feels like chenille. I just love him. Good job to you on breeding such wonderful animals. I'll send you a picture soon. I only have ones of him when I first got him, you already know what he looked like then. :)

That little cat has been such a blessing for Shirley and for the entire family. He is so smart!!!!! He comes when called, follows Shirley around the apartment building hallways and so reliable using the litter box, even at my house when he comes to visit. He is different from any cat I have ever known. Even a friend who is very knowledgeable about cats remarked how intelligent. Again, thank you so very much!

Hi Denise!
Just wanted to send a note to let you know how great Stewie and Olivia "Libby" are doing. We had decided to adopt a second kitten when Stewie (who was a year old) started to seem a little depressed being home alone during the day while we were at work, So we picked Libby up on that VERY hot day in July and the whole hour an a half ride home, she cried. We felt just awful! She cried for the next couple days-except for the times when she would see Stewie. He really took her in and was so sweet with her. She followed him around like a shadow! Stewie has a certain meow that he does when he can't find Libby or wants her to come near him - and every time he does it, wherever she is in the house, she comes running to him! They have been inseparable since her arrival and now are always cleaning each other, playing and cuddling together. Stewie and Olivia are so special and we couldn't be happier.

I cannot put into words how thrilled we are with our little Maya (Dana finally named her!) . . . She is the SWEETEST thing. Maya followed us everywhere when we got home and only took a nap when she found an empty lap to curl up on. She seems to be in love with us . . . and of course we are in love with her!! It was a pleasure meeting you. I think the wonderful personality of your kittens is a reflection of the love and get from you :) You certainly made this whole experience a positive one for us . . . Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
p.s. I am MORE than anxious to get the second kitten . . . for me this time!!!

Just wanted to touch base with you and let you know that little Halo is doing wonderful! He's growing so fast, has gained 2 whole pounds in the 2 months that we've had him, I attached a picture for you. :) Thank you for such a wonderful addition to our family, we're thrilled. :)

Dear Denise,
Just wanted to let you know that we are all enjoying Eddy so much. After about three days he would come to me and let me cuddle him. He is such a cute little boy, he loves to cuddle up on someone to take a nap. Eddy has really fit into our family well and has been so easy to care for. He loves to play fetch with us and likes to be involved in everything. We are so glad we have him. Thanks for everything

Just a note to let you know that Andrew(Andy) is doing well. It took him a couple days to get really comfortable, and another day to start leaving "his" room and explore the rest of the house, but now he runs the house (after a couple of cat-proofing adjustments). He's perched on my shoulder as I write this. He's smart and playful and affectionate - just what I'd hoped for. I 'll send you a picture or two as his adult looks develop. Thanks,
